Dr. Ayhan Yoruk is a triple board-certified cardiologist specializing in clinical cardiac electrophysiology, cardiovascular disease, and internal medicine. With over a decade of experience, he is known for delivering compassionate, patient-centered care and leading innovative research in cardiac health.
He earned his undergraduate degree magna cum laude from Cornell University and his medical degree from George Washington University, where he met his wife. He completed his internal medicine and general cardiology training at the University of Rochester, followed by advanced electrophysiology fellowship at UCSF, working under pioneers in the field.
Dr. Yoruk is affiliated with multiple hospitals in Southern California and is deeply committed to improving patient outcomes while upholding the highest ethical standards. He resides in Westlake Village with his wife and two sons.

The Heart Rhythm Clinic
Dr. Ayhan Yoruk opened The Heart Rhythm Clinic in Moorpark, California, to offer a welcoming and personalized cardiac care experience to Southern California communities in both Ventura and Los Angeles counties.
A second location of the clinic will be opening in 2026 in Westlake Village. Both locations offer convenient access off of the 118 and 101 freeways.
Catheter Ablation
Dr. Yoruk completed his advanced cardiac electrophysiology training at UCSF Medical Center in San Francisco under the mentorship of several pioneers and leaders of field, including Dr. Melvin Scheinman, who pioneered cardiac catheter ablation. Dr. Scheinman performed the first human catheter ablation in 1981, and the procedure has since been used for many decades to treat cardiac arrhythmias for therapy and improvement in the lives of millions.
